Hey, I'm just after moving into Ringsend, near the Brazen Head, and was wondering what this area is like? Also, what shops, pubs and restaurants are near by? Thanks

The Brazen head is miles away. Ringsend is a grand area, ten minutes walk from town. Everything you need. Good luck!

+1 though a touch more than 10 mins. During my 18 months in Dublin I spent a lot of time in the Ringsend area and I have to say I found it a sound place, sound people. Excellent bars, a well-regarded chipper and a Chinese takeaway that, although it looks very basic, serves great-tasting food. I'd recommend the area to anybody.

Sportsco is right in Ringsend itself, looks quite good, http://www.sportsco.ie/facilities/fitness-centre/gym.html
