lads just wondering if someone like myself bought in some barley or whatever what would be the best way of storing it, I dont have any concrete walled sheds that i can free up so would have to leave loose in a hay shed or similar, im only talking a few ton here, would this be any good? does it have to be kept bone dry and how long does it last or does it go off? Would rodents be a big issue?
sorry if silly questions but have never fed anything outside of silage

there should be loads of the around at the moment as i dont think you are allowed to bring them back to the merchant any more - citrus can be bought at good value too

sorry I meant I havent seen anyone offering to sell it by half ton bag as opposed to not being able to get the bags, i suppose I could fill the bags myself but seems like alot of messing

I know a couple of growers selling both whole and rolled grain in bulk or half tonne bags in Tipperary if that's any use.
