    Hi All NUI Galway students. A new, NUIG-specific social/academic network has been put in place in college in conjunction with Student Services. It's called CollegeConnect www.collegeconnect.ie
    It was initially designed to help new first year students to integrate and to help develop a sense of community. If you are a student at NUIG, please register and upload some of your details. You can also set up groups if for example you are a club/society/class member.

    If anyone in NUIG is interested in volunteering to help develop this network please send me a pm, especially if you have IT, marketing or journalistic skills (or any skills that you feel may be useful). It would look good on a CV I'm sure seeing as this is an NUIG-backed initiative.

    What kind of experience would you need? I'm a first year in IT with a small bit of programming background.

    What programming language are you studying? C? Do you know ant PHP at all?

    Just C and C++. We haven't done any PHP as of yet, nor do I know any from personal knowledge :/
