i hope your wrong, for all our sakes :o

do you need a car right now? if not then i would wait too as your money will get a bit more in Jan due to the extra year and people that might be upgrading to a new motor in the new year.

if you need a car right away i would suggest searching -

    www.carzone.ie
    www.adverts.ie
    www.donedeal.ie

    to name but a few.

Late november, early December is always a good time to buy a car.
Private sellers want the cash for christmas
Dealers will want to shift as much stock as they can before the new year.

If your not mechanicly minded bring someone with you who is,they can check the car and should spot any problems you might miss.

Steer clear of the dealers around Kylemore and the Naas road. The tend to shut up shop and "relocate" every few months. If you have a problem, you may get serious heartache.

If I were you, I'd be looking at a car in a main dealer. At least that way you have some sort of comeback (i know that main dealers are closing up shop like theres no tommorow)

The 206 itself is a good little car. They generally dont give too many problems, and have a good reputation. As someone else said, take a look at the Ford Fiesta too.
