Security fixes for Flash and Acrobat reader out today

Important security fixes for Adobe Acrobat reader and Adobe Flash have finally been published.

Any version of Adobe Acrobat reader less than v 9.2 is insecure.

While you are at it, in Acrobat go to edit > preferences > JavaScript and uncheck enable javascript. Chances are you will never need it to read documents, and it is a backdoor into your system.

If you use Firefox, Safari, etc and also use IE, go to
http://www.adobe.com/go/EN_US-H-GET-FLASH in Firefox - do the install, and go to the same link using IE and do the install again.

They are two different versions of Flash - the installation process automatically detects the browser you are using.
