    Hi all,

I recently left my job on friday October 2nd, signed on on Monday October 5th and then had my meeting on Wednesday October 7th. I was told at that meeting that I would be entitled to the full amount of Job Seekers Benefit and that I would get a letter in the post the following week to explain what to do next. However it is a week now since I had the meeting and I have not gotten the letter. Can anyone explain what I should do, what is this letter and should I be signing on in the social welfare office every week? Is there something I should be doing in the meantime or just wait?

This is my first time signing on.I am from Dundalk if thats of any help.

I will ring them tomorrow but just wondering if you guys know better. My folks are getting worried (as well as myself) that I didnt go in to sign on this week but I have not been told anything!!
