Just signed on, now have a temp job..

    Hi all

    I just signed on for the dole on Monday for the first time but on Tuesday I got a temp job that I have for this week and next. I got a letter in the post today saying that I have to go to the post office to collect the dole on Friday (which I don't understand, thought it would take 10 weeks?) Anyway, I obviously want to tell them that I have a job now temporarily but my office refuse to answer their phones!

    Any ideas what I should do? I thought I'd just be able to go in on the next signing on day next month and tell them then and have a letter from my employer but I don't know what I should do about this Friday and going to the Post office!!

    I know I'm getting a bit stressed about it, particularly as I can't ring them - I just want to know I'm not going to get accused of fraud!!
