Who are you in the NFL?

Q1. If you could be one player in the NFL who would you be and why?

    &

Q2. Who would you like to beat in the Superbowl?

    C'mon, its fun!!

A1. For me I gotta be the best Strong Safety in the League since Anderson back in the early 70's for the Dolphins - So #43 Troy Polamalu it is for me. As Limas Sweed said, there isn't just one Polamalu in Pittsburgh, there is only one Polamalu in the whole league.
A2. I would love to beat the Bears - spend all pick-pocketing Mr Baby Cutler and make sure I met Devin Hester on his blindside at least twice a half.

    Final Score - Bears 10 Steelers 34 (with 2 picksix' for #43)

Not sure who i'd like to be but i'd really love to beat the Steelers in a SuperBowl to right the wrongs of SuperBowl XL.
Its such a shame that SuperBowl was decided by terrible officiating instead of who was the actual best team that night. A rematch with the Seahawks winning would go a long way to finally putting that great injustice to bed.

I'd be a safety also, Mike Mitchell with the Raiders and i'd love to go through the steelers and patrirats before smashing the Bucs in the superbowl.

Me, I'd be a cornerback. Swift, athletic and leaping to knock balls out of recievers hands. And the odd pick 6 of course!
If I had the ability to play any position it'd be cornerback.

And beat the Steelers (Ravens fan ) in the Superbowl of course

A player lke Jason Witten for me.
One of my favourite players, big, athletic and gets all the footballs. First down everytime!

I don't know who I'd like to beat.

    Don't really 'hate' a team.

Simple. What type of player would you be. Just a bit of fun. There's plenty of examples.

    I would be

    1) Tom Brady
The guy has talent, is a future hall of famer along with peyton manning, throws solid numbers, links up well with welker, maroney, moss etc

    2) Steelers
So New England can claim the tag 'Team of 2000-2010'

    I'd be:

Donovan McNabb and I'd go through the Giants and then the Jets for the Superbowl, and then tell Philadelphia to suck it and go play somewhere where people aren't arseholes.

    or

Aaron Kampman, against Brett Favre at Lambeau in the NFC Championship game. Weight of about a century's history behind you as you come round the corner for that sack...

    or, ideally,

Steven Jackson, running through... well, take your pick. Steelers maybe.

seeing as i used to play openside flanker i reckon its similar to linebacker. and as my team is the ravens it'd have to be rl52. hitting anything that moves all season long. beating the pats & steelers on the way to the superbowl. and then hammering the skins in the big game. something similar to the ass kicking handed to the giants :)

Awful lot of dislike for the Steelers in this thread!

Ah we love it - Its what we thrive on in Pittsburgh.....

Plus to be the best you gotta beat the best so all this does is confirm how awesome we are ::D:D:D:D

And TP43 is back this weekend so watch out

Nope, I just think the Broncos are an under-rated 5-0 team.

Well he is out of this world - - -

Tom Brady - this is purely for football reasons, and nothing to do with Giselle. ;)

Ah okay. You just seem very supportive of them, as in a fan.

    'Out of this world'...Wayyy.

    1. John Elway
    2. Any of those teams that whipped our (Bronco) ass in those SB's we lost.

Michael Vick - I admire his human highlight reel performances while at Atlanta

Alternatively Nmamdi Asomugha - To be acknowledged as the leagues best CB while on a mediocre team (my raiders unfortunately are just that atm ) is an achievemnt to be proud of. Not to mention the big $$$ :pac:

    1. Calvin Johnson. Potential to be the greatest WR of all time in my opinion. However I feel being on the Lions could seriously hamper that.

    2. If the Raiders could play any team it would easily be the Chargers. Watching Rivers cry like bitch and LT moaning like a 12 year old girl after the match would be heaven. Two players who butchered the us for the last 6 or so years(especially LT) so revenge in the SB would be sweet. Actually having a hard time picking an NFC team, 49ers are a good choice for the bay area rivalry, any team Brett Farve plays. Cowboys with the two owners being good friends and seeing Romo bottle the big one, Saints not because I dislike them but because there so entertaining to watch.

    1. Wes Welker - Solid, dependable, consistent and underrated.

    2. Dolphins V Pats (or in fact Dolphins V anyone!!!)

    Tony Romo.

I could see Jessica Simpson nwith no clothes on.

    Team

Green Bay Packers ! Think they are a bit like the Dublin GAA team.

Peyton Manning (just ahead of Dwight Freeney)

    Cowboys in the SB
Pats in the AFC Championship game (Sorry eagle eye)

    well said

    Scott Norwood

I'd have aimed a tad more to the left:)

    I'd be..

someone on the D-line, maybe one of the Williams boys. In the final minutes of the S-bowl against the Pats, Brady has a ball batted up in the air and I catch it and lumber my 350 pound frame down the field sixty yards for the game winning touchdown, everything jiggling. I reach the endzone and don't have the energy to celebrate, just collapse into a contented heap of muscle and fat.

Is this too much info? sorry, I just love to see those clips of Big Man with Ball.

Simple: Maurice Jones-Drew. Feared like a dwarven warrior and tackled like a calf. Would want to be traded though.

Why would you want to be traded? MJD is putting up phenominal numbers already on an average team and will most likely see many a Pro Bowl and enter the HOF eventually. Job done. Sure a ring or two would be nice but you dont need them to be known as one of the greatest runners of all time if he gets that far in his career.

 Wow good man elaborating on your point. Yes the Jags are at best an average team.

Ease up on the Jags, man. They're not average, they're unorthodox.

Cortland Finnegan, he is a complete wind up merchant. He plays hard but he is a genuinely decent guy with a heart of gold.

Would love to beat the Texans in a SB

Probably Patrick Willis. Such a good player. Bowman would be a close second though. Offensively RG3, without the injury obviously.

I'd love to beat either the Steelers or the Raiders, I just don't like either. Seahawks would be a close third though.
