Something disasterous just happened to my ipod. The entire library got deleted, and it's not backed up on my computer. It happened when it was accidently 'synced'. Does anyone know of any recovery programs available that can retrieve the thousands of songs?
    Thanks
    L

Is it not backed up at all,not even in your iTunes library on your pc/mac/laptop?
If it was being "synced" then what was it connected to at the time??

I had never synced it before, so I had itunes on a few computers. It won't work with itunes on any computer now, although I was able to save some of the stuff I bought, all the CDs I had uploaded are dead files in the library.
