Whats the story with the official party? Is it just people standing around drinking and chatting? Just wondering what it has to offer , that you wouldnt get in smaller pubs around the city?
    Has anyone been before?

No, its a lot of people sitting down and chatting, :D With the odd John Wayne walk to the toilets.

I didnt know there was one, so I'd be interested in seeing whats on offer, cos the pubs are very quiet on the Monday night.

Personally I think it's an utter rip off to be expected to pay another 15 euro on top of your entry fee to put money in some publicans pocket.

If you want to have a bit of fun, your best bet is to go for a few drnks after the race in the pubs around the finish area. Good atmosphere and always enjoyable.

You'd get a full meal or at least an earlybird in town for 15-20 euro these days so woun't be in a hurry for that myself. Get a crowd together and have your own party :) lots of pubs around .

I'd offer my venue up and could sort some deal out but its a little out of the way, would be 10 mins on the bus from the city.
