Help with Reason?

    Hey Guys

I have been using reason for a while now and find it fairly handy. Only one thing that is bugging me, maybe i am doing something wrong. I use soundforge to record my guitar into the computer, then save the file as a .wav. The only way i can import the .wav into reason is through a sampler in Reason.

My main problem with it is that when i have the file in reason, i have to start it from the beginning every time in order to hear my .wav. This can be very frustrating if you have a 2/3 minute song, and you are trying to add bass and drums. Does anybody know of any easier way of doing this?

that's the big limitation of reason. it's not an audio sequencer. best bet is to rewire it into cubase, ableton etc. and record your audio into those.

Have a look at Propellorheads Record too, looks like it might be what you need.

If it was a few loops you could use recycle and use dr rex .

I've got Record. That's the programme you need to do what you want to do.
