    Thinking of goin in jan. Has anyone been wots it like good nitelife good runs ..Was goin to try andorra this year but haven read the other thread and have been to livigno last year i think i need sumthing better than pas de la casa....

    Lots of night life. Great runs. Decent mountain restaurants. World cup race courses. Shops. Choice of ski schools and ski hire. Snow sure. Espace Killy.

    Also, expensive. Apartments tend to be very small, unless you are amazingly lucky. Not good for beginners, runs are not pisted enough so even blue runs often have mogels. And you risk being terrified by the "experts" bombing around the place.

    But if you are a keen skier you'll have a ball.

    Thanks for the info im a intermediate boarder so should be ok have to check out a few other palces too thanks again.

    Tignes is a slighlty lower budget way to ski the same system, particularly if you stay in one of the lower villages. There's a youth hostel in Tignes which is great if you want lots of food and no maid service.

    Also, take a look at Les Arcs. Or St Foy.
