    Hi Guys,

There was a massive amount of interest e-mailed through from alot of Irish MMA clubs to get fighters on for the ISKA Irish Titles.

This feb 12th 2010 will see the welterweights 77kg semi-finals - (Fighters picked form clubs who put the fighters forward)

Also this is full ISKA Pro rules which includes grounded elbows - just to note under the goverance from the ISKA as the official sanctioning body all Pro fighters will be recieving HIV/Hep blood tests.

    The fighters through -

Mervyn Muholland (Juku Ryu JJ) - this guy never fails to impress, he is young, energetic, very talented, a Clan Wars veteran (lol) and an exciting fighter who always gives it 110% every time he fights. He is recently comming back after making it to the final of the cage contenders elimination night with a very close fight in the final.

Mark Gibson (Elite 400 ) 77kg - Mark is a very strong and well conditioned fighter, he brings a mixed bag of skills to the table and again is very hunrgy for the title shot.

John Donnelly (Ryano) - John has great stand up and is fighting out of an excellent camp with the Ryano gym. He has the heart of a lion and never backs down - very exciting fighter indeed!

Michael Reid (Gracie BJJ) 77kg - Well they dont call him the portgelnone hammer for nothing. Mike brings excellent knockout power to the cage in both hands and is also a very capable grappler fighting out of gracie Barra. He is eager to get back to the cage after his last battle at Cage Wars again Hugh Brady - that fight was a war and shows the talent Mike brings to the cage!

    ALSO ON THE CARD -

Jonny 'Smut' Smyth (Elite 400) v Darren Hughes (Sudden Impact) 70kg

Jonny - well if you dont know Jonny from the Irish MMA scene theres something wrong lol, he is a very charasmatic fighter and head coach at Elite 400. He also runs Cross fit training so you can bet your ass he will come in in great condition. He has a great mixed bag of tricks also with good stand up and grappling.

Darren Hughes - Darren Fights out of Sudden Impact in Magherafelt and will prob bring half of Magherafelt and cookstown with him as the local fighter lol. He is a very experienced fighter and trains with Emmet 'The Mauler' Mc Nally. This is a very competent team and will come for war!

These two guys were meant to face off years ago but we finally managed to get the fight on - I am personally looking forward to this one.

I wish them the both the best of luck as they are two great lads and from great clubs!

We have an exciting line up for the C class fights also but those will be released later.

We have also got the candidates for the 66kg SEMI-FINALS for the next show which include Sebastian Torres, Kevin Carney for example with other great fighters from the south who we are waiting to confirm with.
