Three legs and a spring feeder does the job. Can't tell you were to get the drums at as my source has dried up. But where ever you getthem, make sure they are washed out properly!

Guy in the market in Limerick City selling them for 10 a piece. Got 4 few weeks back. Design is exact same as Mallards picture. I have found wheat the best with the springs in that in flows well. Tried barley & game food also. The rolled barley gets stuck at times & the game food was too small & just flowed through it.
Also saw em on the donedeal for 15 a while back. Cleaned & ready for use...
You'll need a barrell, a spring (5 quid) ,3 legs with a slight angle cut into to them at the barrell side & 6 bolts, nuts & washers etc.
Very easy do & shoud last. If you can't get legs I'm sure could bolt or hang it from tree...

We've found the three-leg system to be less stable and now use four legs, inverted V shape with a bolt running straight through. Also have a few screwed onto trees, make sure you put a piece of batten on the inside.

Try a local hardware. They do them down here anyways. Ya can get them at Clara Market also, it be a bit closer than limerick. I was down in Carlow a few weeks ago and got two big ones off a recycling plant for free. Too big for hoppers but they had small ones too so if theres one around you might be worth a try

If you feed rolled barley like I do buy expanded metal (type used for joing blocks) and you can make a basic feeder that wont clog and will flow freely

try getting some mayonaise buckets from your local chipper and drill 10mm holes around the bottom of them. screw them onto trees. work a treat and cost nothing.
