    Hello,
Does anybody know if it is possible to get a warranty for a new car in this country, like you can in the UK with the RAC, AA and Warranties Direct? I am thinking of importing a 4x4 but am told that Irish dealers will not honour the Worldwide Warranty in these cases.
    Thanks

If it's a worldwide warranty then surely Irish dealers have to honour it?

Apparently not, according to the supplier. I guess because I am not buying through the dealership network then they won't cover it.

never heard of this, best thing to do is ring the manufactuer and confirm with them.

A bit OT, but i'd be willing to bet you could get the 4x4 for the same, if not cheaper figure over here.

    What is it?

Back OT, yes it is possible, check out Lumley.

No such thing as wordwide warranty. I think you're being told lies, maybe someone just trying to push a sale.

Where are you importing from? If its a European vehicle it would be covered any where in Europe. Any where else then you can forget about it.
