Those of you who have beta tested or otherwise been running Windows 7, do you see any problems with running the new Microsoft OS on the Toshiba Netbook NB205?

Apps I want to run include MS Word 2007 (Word 2010 when its released), MS PPT 2007 (PPT 2010 when released), browsers FF3.5 and Chrome 3.0 (IE8 but only for MS updates), ccleaner, KIS2009 (KIS2010 when released), NetBeans IDE 6.7, NetObjects Fusion, and SPSS 17.0.

It comes with 1GB DDR2 533MHz memory, but I will swap the 1GB for a 2GB stick when I purchase it for an additional $30 USD.

    Specifications:
    Intel® Atom™ Processor N280
    Display Size 10.1" widescreen
Display Type WSVGA TruBrite® Backlit LED
    Display Resolution 1024x600
    Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator GMA950
64MB-251MB dynamically allocated shared graphics memory
    Hard Drive 160GB HDD (5400rpm)
Webcam and microphone built into LCD bezel
    Atheros® Wireless LAN (802.11b/g)
85 key US keyboard, TouchPad™ pointing device
    Battery Li-Ion (5800mAh)
Battery Life Up to 9.08 hours
    Weight 2.93 lbs.
Standard Limited Warranty 1-Yr Parts and Labor, 1-Year Battery

Any suggestions for hardware improvements for this Toshiba? Pros or cons for buying this netbook? Limitations?

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate on my netbook, Atom processor, 2Gb of RAM and 320Gb hard drive. And have had no issues, i have office 2007 installed, again no issues, the odd time things will stow down, but it's hardly noticeable. KIS2009 should be fine, i'm using Microsoft's own security package. I'm also running firefox and chrome without issue.
I'd say you'd be fine tbh!

If your notebook runs vista it will run windows 7
    as it uses less resources
you can also use the microsoft upgrade advisor to check compatability.

ive installed windows 7 on pentium 4 units with 512 MB of ram and thats even with a shared memory display
win 7 set up will install on 384 mb of ram to allow for a shared memory display systems
