    Hi,

I'm new to Galway & looking to start playing rugby again. I assume most clubs are open to new individuals just turning up at training.

Does anyone know which clubs train closest to the city centre & on what evenings?

    Thanks
    Conor

    Hi,

OLBC are based at the Sportsgrounds (greyhound track, where Connacht play), and train on tuesday/thursday, 7pm i think. http://www.olbcrfc.com/.

Slightly further, you have Galwegians in Renmore (http://www.galwegians.ie) . And of course, if you're a student, there's also a team at NUIG.

slightly furtherout again is Corinthians and thats the main lot of city clubs.

But UCG or OLBC are probably your best bets!
