I'm using wordpress hosted on domain.com when i try to upload an image i get the following

'The uploaded file could not be moved to /usr/local/pem/vhosts/187777/webspace/httpdocs/wp/wp-content/uploads/2009/10.'

any ideas how to sort it?

Without more info, I imagine you need to change the permissions on "/usr/local/pem/vhosts/187777/webspace/httpdocs/wp/wp-content/uploads" to allow it to be world-writeable.

Check the permissions on /usr/local/pem/vhosts/187777/webspace/httpdocs/wp/wp-content/uploads and the 2009 and 2009/10 subdirs. I guess that they should be 777.

I also suggest putting the question to your hosting company's support team. They are there to help with issues like this.

Thanks for the replies i will try out what you have suggested. I sent the same question to the support team but they usually take 24-72 hours to respond.
