Would there be any support for a proposal to create a sticky or sub forum to collect the stolen bike postings?

Not a bad idea. But I wonder would it be like "wanted" forums. Where no one goes. Maybe I'm wrong about both.

Perhaps if it wasn't stickied people would take more notice of a Stolen Bike thread each time a new post brings it to the top of page one.

Hermy is right, I don't think there are enough stolen bikes to warrant a sticky and it is a serious enough problem that each one deserves to have it's own thread. Much like images of beauty, it could be difficult to navigate. Alternatively, maybe a page on the wiki similar to the bike gallery page?

Just bump your stolen bike thread if you are looking for new information
