    Could someone please help me with a little query with verb structure.

    What is the correct way to say " I am walking" is it "Ta me ag shuil" or is it "Shuilim i.e I walk or I am walking".

    Again for example "I'm selling". Is it "Ta me ag diol" or does "Diolaim" mean "I sell or I'm selling" and is it the more correct way to say i'm selling"

    Ta born orm ach bhfuil an teachtaireacht seo as Gaeilge agus le fadas.

    Go raigh maith agaibh.

    Tuigtear rud leanúnach as úsáid na haimsire láithrí. Díolaim = I sell (everyday / regularly)
    Táim ag díol = I am (right now) selling.
    mar an gcéanna leis an mbriathar "Siúil"

    I am walking - Tá mé ag siúl
    I walk (to the shop everyday) - Siúlim (go dtí an siopa gach lá)

    Just as another way of remembering it,
    think of how you say to someone "What are you at?"
    technically Tá mé ag siúl means I am at walking
    I am (Tá mé) at (ag) the act of walking (siúl)
    Similarly;
    I am (tá mé) at (ag) the act of selling (díol)
