Traffic interview results...well done

Just a quick well done to all the members who just got results in Dmr for traffic interviews.

Anyone know when they will actually start??

And for any traffic members.... whats the story when you start? Are you sent out on chiefs or partnered up? + how long for courses on bike/car etc.

They have to remove your soul first.

Then it'll take at least half your first day to unlearn everything non-fcps related.

Sounds like everyone who did the interview seems to have got a good result.
I'm guesin ye will be starting around "freeflow" to make up for the lack of phase 4's coming out in November.

I'm always worried about guys who want to wear leather pants for a living!!!

Best 10 years of my life being a tango unit. Probably changed a bit since my time but you'll be at everything and making regular apperances on boards.ie, joe public complaining about you doing your job, but if they ain't complaining you are not doing enough. Might even get your mug on the wall of fame, I reckon I'm there somewhere, haven't been back in years, one of theses days.

I've driven tango cars, (for oscar tango!!) and I've always found it very hard to not react to other stuff, doing searches etc. I'd say it must be hard to get into traffic only mode.

Beats posts and walking in the rain though!! We're losing a few very good members from my crew to traffic.

Last time I checked Traffic members were not just traffic members anymore........were now a proactive unit. O and we all wear the same uniform. Its not some weird curse that once you put on that Traffic bike jacket your instantly given all the knowledge of all traffic related offences and forget everything else. Were still polis.

Most Traffic members in the sticks will have a higher search return than any member on the regular.

Anyone know when the next set of phase fours are due out. Todays rumour is that the traffic jobs will coincide with the freeflow crew??

They've 7 more weeks before they're attested I think
