Ahh it looks like it's one of those "book between 12 and 12.10, fly between Wednesday and Friday" kinda things :D Still, Michael O'Leary is a genius...

    Front page Big banner
    Free Flights
    No taxes or charges

Click on T&C's and you get
    Fares don't incl optional Fees/Charges

    :confused::confused::confused:

Maybe it's because of the timing.
Can see the ads in tomorrows papers already.

Optional fees are stuff like the baggage charge.

I can see lots of return flights to the uk for 2 cent all in.

Below is the list as it appears on Ryanair website. However 10 routes listed as free from Nov 1st to dec 17th don't operate in winter. See red lines below. 11 panorama lies? 10 Ryanair ones.

Flights to Brussels for two people for the grand total of 4c, return. Eyeing up Oslo now. Michael O'Leary, most definitely a true hero.

Return flights Cork to Dublin for 10 people and then 12 return flights to Newcastle for the total sum of 44cent!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,536 ✭✭✭Brimmy

Got myself and the girlfriend and my parents trips to London for 8 cents in total thanks to the OP and Entropay. Wanted Barcelona but it didn't operate...which is odd seeing as they were going for an honesty approach so a bit annoyed at that but beggars can't be choosers.

Where else is good for a romantic break that's on offer? :p

    Cork!
Annoying about the ones that are operating and are advertised as FREE but no flights available. Michael telling porkies OR nobody can programme the booking engine?

This happened from my PC, I hope this doesnt happen on the flight !!

Why is everyone so keen to find fault here? This is a Bargain Alert, not a discussion about good corporate citizinship or fair business standards...

Absolutely brilliant, very funny thanks for that. Is Vivian a girl or a guy? I thought it was a girl's name, but they keep calling him/her Mr. Vivian! I'd almost watch Panorama to see what they said, a genius stroke by O' Leary and Co. by publishing the emails, made Panorama look incompetent!

I'm delighted to see them encourage the use of Visa electron. I had figured that with increased numbers figuring out how to avoid the handling fee they may have stopped it.
    Yay, 1cent flights in future!

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 586 ✭✭✭conolan

I doubt that they are trying to encourage Visa Electron. They need Visa Electron to exist in order to be able to claim Free flights or €1 flights or similar. If Visa Electron become too popular, they'll find another obscure card provider to replace them, or ban Entropay User as a valid card owner.

conolan, did O'Leary spit on your cornflakes?

Can one now use an Entropay with a EURO account?
