logic and novation sl

    Hi guys,, Anyone use logic and a novation sl together.. Cant set up the automap and i am at the end of my patience.. Would have got rid until i seen the logic 9 upgrade.. Wondering can anyone help me set them up together,, At this stage i am almost willing to drive anywhere to meet someone to give me a bit of help.. Cheers in advance..

    Hi Alan,

    I have a Novation SL keyboard that I use with Logic.

    I went through all the problems you are having with Automap and just got tired of it to be honest. I stopped trying to use it as a controller long ago and just use it as a midi keyboard now.

    I'd like to know too.. Asked the question already myself - no answer Mate.

    I think thats its supposed to work with everything but the Logic 8 Synths & FX. Supposed to be fixed in L9.

    Thats of no help to you really though.. :(

    I was thinking about getting a Nocturn.. I'll be interested to see if anyone can help you.

    I'll state the obvious, it sounds like a Logic problem. I have auto map with Pro Tools and Ableton and both are pretty seamless.

    Trouble is it's over the other side of the room!

    Had a nocturn and it worked fine with logic and now everything is mappable with logic 9..But the sl is a nightmare to set up.. If anyone out there can help me i will pass d info on..
