Is it a good idea to send cv's a second time?

I have sent my cv off about 2 weeks ago looking for a position as a trainee vet nurse. I have heard back from 1 of them, so far and no luck yet.
Just over the weekend, i found out that you can do a pet first aid course and its certified. I intend on doing it in november or december and adding it to my cv.

But would it be a bit much sending them all an updated cv when i finish the course?

Go for it. I can't see how it would be a problem at all.

Try also adding a cover letter to the cv, drawing particular attention to your new skills. That way they won't just see it as a duplicate and bin it.

    Yep, good advice.

It's a very good idea. Keep your name in their mind so when a job comes along you're the first person that they think of!
