decent singers/bands?

    Hi folks,

    I was just wondering if anyone could recommend a good singer or band that would play in a local pub of a saturday night in Co. Limerick? There's nothing worse than a one-toned band making a saturday night even longer than it need's to be! :rolleyes:

    There's loads. What type of music? Are you looking to book the band?

    The music type is broad - irish country pub style, but also songs from the likes of garth brooks and those of his time. Heavy metal and cheesy pop would be out of the question. Theres an excellent band called Blue Bayou, if you've heard them - that's the type of talent and music we'd like.

    If recommendations are high enough we will more than likely give somebody a go. Any suggestions?

    I never heard of Blue Bayou, sorry. But if you're looking for Garth Brooks style music look for bands like, Wise Guys, Night Owls, Quintin.
