    Hi,

I am in the process of compiling my Business Plan for a new business. Can somebody explain what is the difference between a Cashflow Forecast and a Projected Profit and Loss Account

In short the cashflow is about timing of cash inflows and outflows but a projected P&L is about what is invoiced and purchased during the year.
The P&L does not look at what money is received or paid during the year.

The cashflow forecast is required to ensure that you will have enough cash to pay your expenses.

    Cheers,

Do you know where I could source a good basic template for these.
