    Hi,
I am considering buying both a 32" and a 40" tv from RicherSounds.
I've noticed that quite a few of the tvs are instore collection only.
As I live in the South and would have to drive a fair distance to collect - do you think that both of these tvs would fit in an Audi A3 3-door car?

I don't fancy having to make 2 trips if one of them won't fit.

Cheers in advance for any advice on this

Look up the full specs of the TVs in question on the manuf's website - in some cases they detail the size of box it comes in - then out with the measuring tape. :)

Some manuf's are better than others in that regard and the amount of packaging buffer around the TV also varies from one manuf to another.

Worst case - I'm sure those nice RS guys could measure the boxes for you before you pay them a visit.

FWIW - I had plenty of room to spare with a 40" Sony lying flat in the boot/backseat of a Ford Focus Saloon and had previously had a 32" Sony in just the boot of the same car. Once the 40" fits in you should be fine.

    Codpeas,

Thanks a million - fancy a job answering Boards posts??

Gaillimh - yep mosty 40 will fit into an A3 once you are happy to lie them down, drop the seats, avoid Ikea/Sainsburys/etc - but just drop us a line and we will happily check out the box dimensions.

    Thanks again,

    ATB,

I picked up a 42" Philips about 6 weeks ago in my wifes Golf hatchback which wouldn't be a million miles off an A3 space wise, you won't have a prob with the seats down :D happy shopping
