WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN IT IS MARKED AS NOT GENUINE

    Hi. I use Windows Vista.
Recently, when I open Word, I get a message saying Office is not genuine and that it will be marked as non-genuine in x days. Windows is genuine it says, Office not.
    Why might this be?
WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN IT IS MARKED AS NOT GENUINE ?
I bought my pc through a regular retailer with office and windows already installed (though did recently download office.org).
    Many thanks,
    Garrett Higgins

If you bought it through a retailer with office installed then you need to go hit them over the head with the system until they explain why they gave you a non-genuine version. (Joking, no retailers should be harmed!!! :) )

As for what happens, as far as I know, nothing will.
Due to some issues that MS, or someone else, had before with disabling software, I don't believe that they can actually stop it from working, I think all they can do is continue to warn you that it is non-genuine. But I could of course be completely wrong.
