    its a simple process. record cassette to computer and convert the wav file to mp3

    (although why convert it? you'll only be degrading a signal thats already been degraded if its an old tape).

    Cheers, but I don't have a cassette player anymore! and only 2-3 cassettes .... maybe I could just try to borrow one somewhere and get a connection lead ...

    hi guys,
    this is an old thread, but still..
    i have heard that there are some kind of a cable converter. one end goes to the casetter plaeyer and the other to the computer, and that's how sound is recorded and made into mp3. i'm searching for this, anyone knows how is it called exactly?
