Photobox - 2 for 1 Photobooks

Used this yesterday. Those photobooks take a bit of time to prepare. I'd recommend naming the pictures in groups and sort by name because the little window for pictures is not very helpful and Firefox crashed on me a number of times, more than likely because I was scrolling back and forth looking for pictures. I couldn't sort by modified date because my images came from different sources.

Believe me, renaming your files upfront will save you time if you have over 200 images to sift through as I did! I used the organise photos button which took quite some time as it only allows you move one photo at a time rather than selecting multiple images. After the first crash, the photos reverted back to the original layout which was a bit of a balls.

Looking forward to getting the photobooks now though. I hope it was worth the effort.

I've just ordered 8 books. Thanks OP. It's by far one of the easiest sites to make photo books without the need to install software. Uploading, editing and ordering was a breeze. Miles better than Aldi's software and the photo books look much more professional.

Offer ends midnight 19/10/09 (taken from their website for the Classic Photobook, I presume the date applies to all types).

I ordered a desk calendar last year with one week to a page and a choice of about 5 layouts for each page - and the quality was excellent from picture quality to paper quality, binding etc. Just about to do up my first photobook but if calendar is anything to go by it should be good.

I use these guys quite a bit - their software can be a bit finikey but I like that you can FTP up your photos - so much handier!

    Glad ye like :)

We've used these a few times for gifts to the folks. Its a great deal, and the the parents are always amazed at how we 'made' a book of photos!

    Thanks for the heads up

As Firebug guy stated in another thread, this offer ends at midnight. Don't know which one to go for! I'd go with the classic for 30 euro if I thought it was a huge difference, but can't pick between that versus the square one (20) and small one(15). Any ideas folks?

Did anyone get these in the end folks? Can anyone comment on quality? Thanks

    Hi,
I haven't ordered the photo books, but did order the Deluxe desk Calendar. I was very impressed with the quality. Got 2 for the price of 1 & would certainly order from them again. I've also ordered prints from them & have been extremely happy with the quality.
    Hope this helps.

Got 4 photo books with offer and very satisfied with them, quality very good. Irish daily mail doing a photo book( tictac photos) this week if you collect 6 tokens(€6 for papers), value €40.Only 2 days left unfortunatly but you might be able to lay your hands on back issues if interested.
