Post Wedding Venues in Westport

    Hi,

    We are getting married in Westport in Oct in Castlecourt. We are looking for a venue where everyone can meet up the next day in Westport. I know there are loads of pubs but is there any that would let us reserve tables and maybe supply food later in the night. We are not sure about staying in the hotel as there is a wedding there after ours. There will be a large crowd travelling and making a weekend of it..

    Any advice is appreciated...

    Hi birdoo,
    i lived in westport, and its a great town to have a celebration. depending on what type of venue- eg trendy/trad you will not be short on choice. i would recommend checking out the following: cozy Joes, OMalleys, Heneghans, all within walking distance of the Castlecourt, to get you started. just ring em up and ask them to reserve an area for you, it should be doable. all they can say is no. think they all do food too.

    if you have the time, you could always go on a test run:rolleyes:

    my sister had her reception in the CastleCourt, and because they do so many weddings, it all goes so smoothly - hers went like clockwork, she was delighted. she was a right bridzilla so it is high praise indeed!
