Looks like this game is in the works and set in New York.

No, its not Insomniac games advertising before the game is announced. The billboard is being used in one of Sony's film studios sets for Battle: Los Angeles, according to rumours. The film is due for release 2011 so we can expect R3 around then.

So what changes would you like to see to R3?

I would prefer if they went back to the feel of Resistance:FOM, were you had the bleak story being told through the cutscenes by narration. Also they need to fix some of the weapon fire effects. Some were really flat textures.

They need to add a bit more weight to your character and the weapons.

They need to get rid of some of the appalling sound effects eg; cardboard sounds when you punch the big egg sacks.

The weapons for the most part are lacking as well. Nobody likes firing yellow balls out of their guns- they look **** and cheap and don't feel like they are doing any damage.

There is absolutely no reason why the game isn't running at 60 fps. You see games like ratchet and clank which are vastly superior looking games running at this frame rate without any problems.

The game feels like a PS2 game if I'm honest. There is a lot of potential there, and so far they are quite happy to sit on a few good ideas and not bother polishing them.
