Just bored of ham and cheese, Ham salad, and tuna salad. Not that theres anything wrong with them, its just that I remember seeing some diverse sarnies in a lads mag in work. eg pastrami, pickles, cucumber, pepperoni, etc.

    Thanks,

    Kev.

    Heart Attack Sandwich

Chicken fried steak, chicken-fried bacon, a country sausage, a fried egg, a fried green tomato topped with cheddar cheese and sandwiched between buns toasted in bacon fat, all served with a gravy dipping sauce.

Pastrami, emmental and dill pickles on sourdough (mustard optional)

Leftover meatloaf with very mature cheddar & Branston pickle on super-fresh white bread

Garlic salami, butterhead lettuce & emmental on soft finger rolls

Tuna, pesto and grated parmesan, mixed together on pretty much anything

Flaked, cooked ham & sauerkraut on crusty bread

Lightly toast a bagel; mayo on one half, dijon mustard on the other half
Chicken, ham, rocket, sliced raddish and tomato on one half
Brie or camambert on the other; pop this one back under the grill for a minute and add to the other half
    Ta-dah. World's greatest sandwich

Oh - one I did last weekend. I had made a kind of bruschetta topping by
Warming sliced garlic & fresh rosemary in olive oil and then adding a drained tin of chick peas. Added one blackened (& skinned) red pepper and then let the whole thing warm through.

So I had this in the fridge the next day and I mushed it up with a fork. I toasted a bagel, spread goats cheese on it and put the chickpea/pepper mush on top. HAHM!

Chicken fillet + roast it in the oven on a tray until it's cooked (about 10-15 minutes usually). put some rosemary and pepper on it before cooking it.

    Clonakilty black pudding.

Dunnes stores extra mature cheddar cheese.

Wholemeal pitta bread or a wholemeal bagel, toasted whichever one you choose.

Some sort of condiment, mayo, etc.

    Tastes great!

I normally have this on a wrap but you could put it on a sandwiche too...

Sweet chilli sauce, chicken, smoked bacon, red onion, tomatos, peppers & cheese.........toasted.

    Yum

toast brown bread drizzled in olive oil, mix some beetroot, tomatoe or any other veg with balsamic vinegar, put on bread and top with sliced goats cheese, toast till cheese is melting.

this would be good on any ciabatta/white cruncy bread but I only had brown in the house.....try sliced avocado, salami and goats cheese too with pepper on top...yummy

    Mini Coronation Chicken Pitas

    Directions

    1. Mix together the mayonnaise, curry paste and mango.
    2. Stir in chicken.
    3. Lightly toast the pita breads and make a cut with a knife to open them up.
    4. Spoon in the chicken mixture. Serve.

I will definitely try none of the above. Too much work.

    Brown bread.
    Hot Bacon (the streaky type).
    Chilled coleslaw.
    Sweetcorn.

    Simple as pie sandwich.
