    THE time has come to set out the facts with regard to the issue of demographic gearing. This is the notion that from 2011 onwards more baby boomers will exit than Generation Ys will enter the workforce, thereby depleting the rate of growth in the Australian tax base. This is the primary and compelling argument behind the recent push for elevated levels of migration.


    And why media have been printing scare stories about population growth from lobby groups etc. with interesting views on race....
