Exactly as it says really, whats the fastest and cheapest bus to take from belfast airport to Dublin city centre? are there any promotions or anything running at the moment?

Aircoach isn't really, for several reasons:
    - It doesn't serve Belfast Airport just the city centre
    - The Belfast service runs Belfast City Centre to Dublin Airport and Change of Coaches to Dublin City Centre.
    - It costs 14 euro single or 20 euro return from Belfast to Dublin Airport or 15 euro single and 22 euro return from Belfast - Dublin City

you would need to get the airport express 300 which costs £7 to the europa bus centre (http://www.translink.co.uk/airbusservice300.asp) and then either ulsterbus service 200 or bus éireann 001 to dublin which is £13 .

Thanks for the help, that's dearer than i thought it was going to be, 7 quid from the airport to Belfast is pretty steep. I was trying to book my ticket from belfast to dublin on the buseireann site to see if it's cheaper but it doesn't give the option to book from Dublin to Belfast or vice versa, no idea why, but it's a really annoying site.

do you definitely mean belfast international airport and not the city airport? it's a lot further away from the city centre- even the aircoach from dublin airport to the city is 7 euros.
the bus eireann website doesnt allow belfast to be selected for some reason.

I don't think anything cross border can be purchased online on the Bus Éireann website, nor can their E-tickets be issued on board an Ulsterbus vehicle.

it's definitely belfast international airport. I'd actually use the airport a lot more if it was easier to get to dublin from, I live in Amsterdam and can fly from here to there for 36 euro pretty much any day. I might as well pick up some cheap booze and rare flavours of crisps while i'm up there :p

Aircoach advertises £8.00 from Belfast to Dublin Airport if booked on-line but it still means one has to travel from Belfast Aldergorve (=International airport) into the city so apart from the extra cost also factor in about half an hour travel.
    Trains are a good alternative.

Thread may be old but people still travel. With the improvement in relationships with Northern Ireland probably more now.
For some reason my daughter has booked a return to Dublin from a holiday via Belfast.
I must say that connections are very poor from the airport. It seems that after 9 pm nothing moves on a Sunday evening, except taxis.
Recently I travelled by train. But that was from Connolly Station to Belfast city and back a week later. I am an AOP and could even use my travel pass but the airport is far away from the city.
