blocking up a fireplace help

    as the title says i want to block up a small unused fireplace.

    any ideas as to where i find someone to do this job,would be great if it was someone who could disconnect the gas fire and do the plaster work etc

    Talk to people locally and get an idea of who is a good builder in the area and get them to price the work for you.


    You could try it yourself and you wouldn't be bored stupid..:D

    i wouldnt reconmend doing it yourself in a case where gas has to be capped of not after coming on here looking for advice
