Ipod touch video issue

Got myself an 8gb touch yesterday so while putting stuff on it I remembered a few of my blue rays came with digital copies. I put horton hears a who and max payne in and transerred the movies to itunes (the discs had an itunes option so all should be in correct formats etc) when I transfer them to the ipod and try to play…

Got myself an 8gb touch yesterday so while putting stuff on it I remembered a few of my blue rays came with digital copies. I put horton hears a who and max payne in and transerred the movies to itunes (the discs had an itunes option so all should be in correct formats etc) when I transfer them to the ipod and try to play them the screen goes blank then flashes up "this movie could not be played".

"Any ideas?
