    Hi,
Was curious as i seen it done before. Can one fit seats to the rear of a standard van. The seats to be fitted correctly, bolted in place/ Seat belts fitted. Is this illegal? My insurance policy covers me for up to 7 passengers yet the vechicle as only 2 seats.
Therefore is the only problem with tax? Could i tax it as a crew cab? or just leave it the way it is?

You'd have to remove the steel plate welded to the floor, install seatbelts, windows, and then VRT it.

Cheaper to buy a car, as its illegal to simply have seats in the back without any of the above.
