CE scheme ends applying for dole + savings tested

    Hi,

    I am at this moment finishing a CE Scheme so my contract will end on January 2010 :confused:, I have been looking for work with not much luck... :( and I am aware that January is around the corner, I am worry because I don't know if I'll be allow to comeback to the dole after finish my CE :confused:, do any one knows how this works?

    On the other hand, what is the maximum in savings for some one to claim benefits? and how it is begin tested?

    If you can't find work, it doesn't matter if you've just come off the CE scheme - you can apply for the dole.

    You are allowed up to 20,000 euro before it starts to affect your means test.
