King's Inns Exams

Apologies if there was already a thread on this issue, looked back a few pages and couldn't seem to find one-but was just wondering if anyone could give some tips on how long roughly is spent in preparation for the King's Inns entrance exams? I know some people say that they aren't quite as arduous in terms of workload as the FE1s but was just wondering what sort of a time commitment people put in in preparing for them? I'm meant to be working in New York next summer but plan on sitting these exams as well so would like to know well in advance! Thanks!

This has been dealt with before. I know the search function is not working on boards at the moment, but google is allowing pages be searched.

I just sat the exams this year and, obviously, each person will be slightly different but 8-10 weeks was what I did. Very intense levels of study needed and the longer you do it the better obviously but there are practical considerations to take into account.

Good luck with them anyway, I can tell you that it's worth the effort.
