Spoilers even though it wasn't on T.V. to record, but I wouldn't want to ruin anyone's opening of their Saturday paper:D

Good win for Connacht 46-6, with tries from Carr (2), Swift (2), Flavin, McCarthy, O’Halloran, Ta’auso. Wasn't at the game (work as usual) so any insights into the performance from anyone who was there would be appreciated. I suppose you can't read much into hammering an unknown quantity who are noobs to European rugby, but it's nice to see Connacht having a bit of a ruthless streak when the chance presents itself.

    p.s. Bradley out:pac:

It wasn't a great game, Madrid were better organised in defence than I thought they would be and Connacht made hard work of scoring the tries. Most of them came from just going through the phases.

Nikora didn't kick well, he missed 4 at goal and the wind wasn't strong at all. His kicking from hand wasn't great either. O'Halloran put in a decent performance, took his try well and didn't make mistakes, Tuohy better up his game if he wants to hang onto his starting slot. The pack performed well but the backline wasn't really shining at all. Some linebreaks and offloads from Niva and ladies choice Troy Nathan was lively when he came on, running some good lines.

To be honest, I was expecting to put at least 50 on Madrid.
