So who of us have a gaf out in Maynooth? And how many of you go home at the weekends? Does it be boring here at weekend daytime?

I hate from about 2pm on a Friday the place becomes so dead and depressing.

Any time I stay down in Maynooth I will usually play football and head out in Dublin. I dont think there was one weekend when I stayed down where I didnt do at least one of them.

I'm back in Donegal this weekend but around Maynooth most of the them. I do what pakblue does, play football/go to the gym and meet friends in Dublin.

That was always my favourite time, when everyone fecked off for the weekend. It's like during the summer, the place is a lot quieter. Nice spending our every Sunday in the Roost in peace. I was always surprised by how many people went home for the weekend, very few stayed put.

Yep, lovely and peaceful at the weekends, lots of space in the library and the pubs. And a whole new set of people (the "natives") come out to play!

I've a very handy apartment just off the main street, before you reach Tesco's. So easy.

The bus back to Mayo has gradually destroyed my will to live over the past few weeks. Staying up next weekend. Avail of the library.

Ah it's alright sometimes but that changeover in Longford is torture!
Straide. Nobody I've met knows it, not even most Mayo people. For shame!

On the weekends i don't shave, shower, leave the house, clean up or do the washing until an hour before everyone comes back to the house.....

    I love the weekends

I live at home where my Ma does all the work, proper order.

I wouldn't want to make her life easier by moving out.

    Ha small world!

There's actually quite a strong contingent from Mayo up in Maynooth. I've met a new Mayo person every week!
