Today i god a bang of that christmasy feeling. You know the one, its dark in the evenings and cold, but you are cosy inside your well light and warm house, nice in a way, but terrible too as you know that the time of the year when your bank account shíts money all over place is drawing near. I really shouldn't be talking about Christmas... but its a nice feeling to have.

Know what ya mean tho, can we just rename it Halloween-y feeling for now? Until I can use my advent calendar, I dont wanna know.

I gotta agree with ya here.

This time of the year is all about Halloween. The cold nights drawing in, the bangers and screamers, and the smell of distant tyres being burnt by Jonno and Shaymo.

    Absolute Halloween.

Definately feels Christmassy for me because I got all my Santa shop in. But that's only because I lose my job in November and want to get it all done before then

Not yet. We still have the most cretinous day of the year to get through first (Halloween).

Not today it doesn't because it's sunny.

But went out into town (Birmingham) on Wednesday, there's already a few christmas-y lights up on Broad St. Was with a few good mates, the sky was pitch black, it was freezing and the lights were shining. Felt just like christmas.

And last night, we were walking to a house-party thing. Same again, pitch black, freezing and we all sung Fairytale of New York. Magical

What the feck are you doing in Australia then?

Feck off premature Christmas. I made my feelings known last year and I intend to again every year until it does. It will become an annual festivity that we can all celebrate. The pre christmas anti early christmas holiday. Instead of cards and presents, we can petrol bomb all things christmas that pop up pre December.

i take my holidays every year,at christmas, to a non-christian country, specifically so i can avoid the schmaltz and false sentiments of our greatest commercial celebration.
please don't remind me so early!

I'm just off the phone from Queensland to my sister who's back in Ireland. I'm coming home for 6 weeks over chrimbo, and I had to ring her to start organising our xmas party, our pre-mas party, and our xmas tree, I was so excited :P

We don't really get halloween here in Oz. Certainly not where I live. So, xmas is the next party on the horizon.

Fave time of the year, and I look forward to it for months :D

Can't wait to arrive at Dublin airport on december 1st :D

Because it is October I cannot enjoy a movie with a Christmas theme? I didn't invite you round to watch it so don't let it bother you. The shame of it all.
