Im just wondering which is the better car overall for speed handling look etc

Im gearing towards a colt mivec but that's only because i think they can look better if done up proper but i don't know how they drive and i heard good things about the gti6

    So anyone got any opinions?

ill be boring and dull, but i will say it: Honda...

As much as i am not a fan of them, i have to admit, its best price/quality/speed/handling deal

I'd go for the Gti6 personally, they handle much better, have a bit more power and look way better, also there much more of a sleeper car. The only downside is the 2.0 litre tax and insurance and less reliability.

The mivec will have that kick but I dont think they look great, they dont make as much power as claimed and there everywhere now really, however there only 1.6 so less tax, loaded on insurance though but more reliable.

I think the 306 is a better all rounder.

I'm a huge fan of french hot hatches, so i would naturally say the gti6 as i'm biased. One thing i will say is that they are not the cheapest cars to own!

Insurance isn't much less than what i'm paying on a type r integra, tax is more, they average mid to low 20's for mpg's, would really want to be changing the timing belt every 30k miles as i've heard of a good few snapping, the bearings in the rear beam can fail and may need a replacement beam if they become too worn down, window electrics can cause trouble, probably more but i cant think of any off hand.

They are an expensive car to run, but they are worth every penny when driving right!

As for the colt, its like most other japanese hot hatchs....good but with no soul or character! Only trouble they give that i can think of is mivec not working, usually due to oil pressure problems as thats how mivec works. They will be very cheap to tax, insure and run.
