I had a blackburn delpi 4.0 wireless which worked when it felt like it but it hopped out of the mount when I ran in to a hole in newtownmountkennedy last night( 3-4 shovelfuls of tarmac would sort it wicklow cc if ya care) and a nice yaris ran over it for me....
I'm gonna replace... but with what..
    Budget is about €80-€90
    Any advice..?

It's a bit outside your specified budget, but I've got a Polar CS300 with optional cadence. It's HRM + Cadence and came in at about €170. You might have it already separately, but HRM is about a billion times more useful than cadence (imo). It's a good job and worth getting and gives you a lot of info bundled into one.
Can you wait for it to be a Christmas pressie?

Anyone care to comment or have any experience with any of the Mavic computers.
Thinking of investing in a wireless computer with HR & Cadence at Christmas.
    Nothing like planning ahead!
