Link worked fine for me but I am happy with the anti-virus I currently have. Some may find it good, thanks OP.

Good fine, I am reluctant to download it though as Avast is good enough for me and I would be dubious that it is as effective.

The one or two reviews I heard in the last month or two were very positive

I downloaded and installed it and found a root-kit (malware). Its never any harm to have more than one anti virus product, but it is best to have only one permanently active.

Saruman, like another poster has said, Security Essentials has been highly rated against other free anti virus and malware solutions. As yer man Will at the recent Windows 7 launch events mentioned, it was tested by 300,000 people in China which has somewhat of a seedy reputation for virus, malware and spyware attacks

Downloaded it again tonight. All my software is legit. Comes up with the error 0x80070002 when I try to install it. Anyone got any ideas how I overcome this?
