Does anyone know of a front RIS handguard that will fit a DBoys M4 and still allow the battery to be fitted upfront inside it...

Recently got one but the bottom part is too small and the battery can't fit...

The S-System and CASV Handguards will hold a mini type battery.

King arms do a casv rail system that can take a larger size battery or if you try ebaybanned for a peq battery box that sits on the outside of the rail with the battery hidden

Cheers..... I was hoping to avoid the external wiring ugliness...lol...

Want to keep the battery inside the handguard. Can the S System/CASV handguards be brought seperatly.. also, (last question), will they be straight swap replacement ie no other modding needed?.. cheers..

you may be able to fit a small 7.2v lipo under the rail, though i might require some dremmelling and you will need to make sure its not exposed to getting struck by a BB as it may rupture the cells.

another solution would be to re-wire it to the rear, even if you havnt a cranestock you can get some lipos that will fit the buffer tube, though not with a mosfet in there as well.

S System/CASV handguards can be a bit ignorant looking and make the gun fairly front heavy and external wiring of any kind looks cack.
