Hope someone here can aid me a little.

I'm looking for 30 decent enough cycling jerseys with a lettering and a design displayed on them. Can anyone recommend any good sites in the UK or Ireland or beyond.

    Cheers

I think this is where they sourced the boards jerseys. Maybe one of the people who actually dealt with them might comment, but there's a couple of batches came from them so they can't be too bad.

Our current club gear is from the supplier above - we can strongly recommend them.

We've also bought from Owayo and they're well worth a look too:

Santini make good kit. [Italian, Bergamo]

I have no idea how much the custom kit costs but this is the link.

And if you don't have enough choice you can also consider custom Giordana kit www.myteamgiordana.co.uk

A lot of companies host in the US, hosting tends to be cheap there. I can assure you they are perfectly reputable. Their jersey quality is in my opinion very good, you just need to be careful with sizing, it can be a bit strange.

Regarding the new site I think they are trying to market to the UK/Ireland in particular.

I think Carvalho are a fair bit cheaper than other companies; personally I think their stuff is as good as Spin 11's. Certainly the jerseys. Maybe excepting the shorts which are not great. I like the Boards jacket myself, it has a fair bit of waterproof compared to my club jacket which is substantially warmer and not waterproof at all. Others prefer the latter. It was certainly a hell of a lot more expensive though.

Have to say I didn't find the quality good at all . Our club used spin 11 and the material was not up to scratch . Any club mate I spoke to said the same thing that is why the club didn't get there clothing this season. Just my opinion

Actually I find it the other way around. I prefer the Carvalho shorts to the Spin ones, but would take a Spin jersey over a Carvalho one, because they fit much better.

I've got jerseys made up by Owayo 3 times and found them very good. Unlimited options in terms of adding logos etc and their templates are pretty cool if you take a bit of time messing about with colour schemes and whatnot.

Having said that I don't have any experience of other companies mentioned so can't comment on how they stack up.

Haha well there you go it is a bit personal on the fit... to be honest neither are as good as my "good shorts" but I raced all year in the club ones which was generally a 100km ride out-race-back each time and they were grand. The Boards ones not so keen. But then racing takes your mind off things.

got a batch of club kit done earlier this year with endura.

    http://www.endura.co.uk/Dept.aspx?dept_id=134

had previously used fernando carvalho - there is no comparison in quality and fit; endura are far superior

    costs were around the same

    would highly recommend endura

pretty sure imbrc used them aswell

Really appreciate everyones comments and thanks a lot.

Love the option with owayo on their site whereby you can design your own kit so I'm going to contact them and see how it goes. Thanks again folks

Have a reasonable quote of €830 for 20 jerseys from owayo, including shipping fee..

but on the quote it also had this, "We also offer 5% for sleeve sponsorship or 10% for front or back" excuse my stupidity but what exactly are they referring to?

Maybe it's a 5% or 10% discount for having their own name advertised on the gear.

Swords use Santini. It's good stuff. I've bought a load of their generic kit as a result and I like it.
