The fourth and probably final season of heroes has started, but are there some unanswered questions still to be dealt with?

I want to know what was/is the significance of the eclipse and those who discovered their powers during this time??

This may have been answered but I kinda drifted throu Heroes during Season 2-3

When does it start over here?

I know I could download it now but I prefer watching it on TV on a weekly basis.
Who has it now? Is it still BBC2 or did Sky buy the rights and will 3e be showing it again?

I dunno the answer to any of these questions but I'd wager google does. Give it a shot.

Originally, the eclipse was symbolic. "A global event" is how Mohinder describes it in the first episode, "Genesis". It's implied that people have now suddenly begun manifesting their powers all over the world.

In season 2 ep 1, "Four Months Later", Hiro sees a solar eclipse in feudal Japan. I think the idea here was a whole "new dawn, new day" type of thing. One journey has ended but another has begun and the eclipse is present at the beginning of this journey too. Also we find that Kensei/Monroe manifests his powers here too so again the correlation between eclipse and power is there.

In volume 3, unfortunately, they abandoned the idea of the eclipse being symbolic and gave it new meaning: as an on/off switch. The eclipse would literally grant people powers and take them away. Hopefully, like much of volume 3, they never speak of it ever ever again.

January 2010??? Sure what's the point BBC? Nobody (not even me) will wait that long. They must want people to use torrents...
