more wibbly forks in the pro peleton thought they'd go with boardman - or are they not up to it ?

    http://www.cyclingweekly.co.uk/news/latest/400515/pinarello-announced-as-team-sky-bike-supplier.html

The long-awaited confirmation of Team Sky's bike supplier was made official today as Pinarello signed a three-year agreement with the new British squad.

Team Sky boss Dave Brailsford had been in discussions with several major companies over the summer, including Giant and Look, but the long-established Italian manufacturer came out on top.

"The choice of bike has been a key decision," said Brailsford. "From the first talks, we found an immediate understanding with Pinarello on what this team is about; performance and perfection. The ways that Pinarello combine their life-long passion for the bike with the latest technology are genuinely inspired."

I presumed they'd go with Boardman too, but given that Chris Boardman works for British Cycling, who run Team Sky, there'd probably be a conflict of interest there.

Pinarello has just dropped a notch for me in the desirability stakes.

Russell Downings manager Phil Griffins is the UK distributor for pinarello. I'm fairly sure that had something to do with it.
Never quite got those forks and still not sure if they look good or sh1te

the front looks good, the back on looks like a mistake

i thought the whole Ethos of "Team Sky" was to be a "british team"??

they`re doing their best at squashing that assumption, i would have thought they`d go with Dolan bikes, dont they use them for their track team?
